Job Type - Part Time
Salary - £14.00 per hour
Location - Leeds
A friendly, reliable male Personal Assistant/ Support Worker is required to provide evening support to an adult living in his own home.
This is a varied and rewarding role supporting independent living. The position would suit someone calm, practical and dependable who enjoys being active and working in a home environment.
You will be assisting with everyday tasks, DIY jobs, home projects, gardening, ironing, home support, food preparation, accompanying on outings, and helping with evening routines.
Hours
Part-time evening shifts:
Wednesday: 6:00pm – 11:00pm
Thursday: 6:00pm-11:00pm
Friday: 6:00pm – 11:00pm
Saturday: 6:30pm – 11:30pm
Main Duties
- Your role will include a mix of practical support and companionship, such as:
- Supporting independent living during the evening
- Assisting with various household tasks
- Accompanying on local errands
- Supporting with evening outings and activities
- Assisting with parts of an evening routine
- Accompanying the employer on evening walks in his wheelchair alongside his dog
About You
The ideal person will be:
- Reliable and trustworthy
- Calm, patient and respectful
- Confident working independently
- Comfortable around pets and animals
- Happy to accompany the employer on walks and outings
- Essential Requirements
- Male applicant (due to the nature of the role)
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car
- Very good spoken English
- Happy to do DIY and manual work
- Physically fit and well
