We are looking for a highly customer-focused Sales Associate (Tills) to join our Ground Floor team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys engaging with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering an exceptional customer experience.

What You'll Do:

As a Sales Associate working within our Tills team, you will be the final touchpoint in our customers' shopping journey. You will ensure every transaction is completed efficiently, accurately, and with the warmth and professionalism that Fortnum & Mason is renowned for.

Working closely with colleagues across the Ground Floor, you will support daily operations while maintaining the highest standards of service and presentation.

- Deliver outstanding customer service, creating a welcoming and memorable experience for every customer.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently through the till system.
- Handle cash, card, gift card, and international payments in line with company procedures.
- Promote and support additional sales opportunities, including seasonal products and customer services.
- Resolve customer queries professionally and escalate concerns where appropriate.
- Support queue management during busy trading periods.
- Maintain excellent standards of presentation within the till and surrounding areas.
- Collaborate with colleagues across Ground Floor departments to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Follow all company policies relating to cash handling, loss prevention, and health and safety.
- Contribute positively to the team culture and support colleagues as required
