General Assistant for a major aviation catering business based in Feltham
The General Assistant are responsible for:
· Manage all production activities ensuring delivery of products meet agreed company specifications and standards in quality as well as quantity.
· Assist with any development activities related to the enhancement of the food production process
· Works with and assists the menu development teams to deliver a product that meets customer expectations.
· Identify issues and solutions related to food production/products and report on progress as required
· Assist in the implementation of quality standards and checks in the warehouse ensuring compliance with approved specification/recipes and immediately makes changes where necessary.
· Actively involved in kitchen during menu cycle change/bulk cooking start-ups.
· Assisting the kitchen in preparation
Pack food liners in accordance with written specification.
Conduct temperature, quality, and product date checks.
Coordinating / managing stock.
General washing, sorting, assembling, packing, and positioning of the aircraft equipment, using an industrial dishwasher.
Offloading and sorting equipment/food and ensuring it is delivered to the correct processing area
Clean the working areas
