Full Time Warehouse Night Shift Packer Job in London

This role is crucial for ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and in perfect condition. Responsibilities:
Pick and Pack Orders: Accurately pick and pack orders according to customer requirements as shown on the picking note.
Quality Control: Ensure products with stated shelf life are properly rotated (FIFO method), with the shortest shelf life product picked first, especially for dairy and chilled goods with use-by dates.
Damage Management: Remove any damaged or bruised products for downgrading or waste.
Safe Packing: Carefully pack produce to maintain quality and protect from damage and allergen contamination.
Loading: Load packed orders into the relevant van according to each van's map.
Food Safety: Report any issues affecting food safety (e.g., out-of-date food, chemical spills, glass breakage) to the manager on duty.
Cleanliness: Keep the food handling and storage areas clean and well-maintained as per the cleaning schedules. Participate in the cleaning rota as required.
Customer Feedback: Inform Walid of any customer complaints or food quality incidents from the previous shift.
Hygiene: Support the company’s food safety policy by observing good personal hygiene practices and reporting any illness to Walid.
Procedural Compliance: Follow company procedures regarding food safety, ensuring any issues or concerns are reported.
End-of-Shift Duties: Perform small prep tasks and clean the packing area according to the cleaning sheet at the end of the shift.
Team Collaboration: Work as part of a team, assisting colleagues as needed and following supervisor instructions for order processing.
