We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join our team at our state-of-the-art secure facility based close to London Heathrow Airport. The role will include loading and unloading transport vehicles, preparing shipments and providing excellent customer service to customers/clients and administrative colleagues. There are plenty of opportunities for personal growth and professional development.
Full training will be provided for the right candidate.
Working hours: 9-hour shift within the core hours of 04:00 – 22:00 Monday to Friday, with possible overtime and weekend work on a rota basis
Reporting to: Warehouse Management Team
Main responsibilities:
- Moving crates, pallets and objects of all sizes with extreme care and precision
- Maintaining and promoting a high level of security and confidentiality at all times
- Maintaining the warehouse environment to the highest standards
- Inventory checking & auditing
- Accompanying clients and contractors working in the warehouse
- Providing clients with excellent customer service
- Condition checking and reporting
- Checking and maintaining equipment and reporting any defects
- Administrative tasks where required, such as checking transport slips
- Other ad hoc duties as required
Requirements:
- Warehouse experience
- High attention to detail
- Good maths and literacy skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Driving license is a bonus
