We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our dynamic team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. Your ability to manage time effectively and maintain food safety standards will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere for our customers. Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks according to established recipes.

- Ensure all food preparation meets health and safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness in the workspace.

- Manage time efficiently to ensure prompt service during busy periods.

- Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and answering any questions they may have.

- Operate coffee machines and other equipment safely and effectively.

- Maintain stock levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management of any shortages.

- Keep the café area clean and organised, including tables, counters, and equipment.

- Handle cash transactions accurately while adhering to basic maths skills for processing payments.

Experience

- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.

- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.

- Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous.

- Basic maths skills are necessary for handling cash transactions and managing inventory.

- A genuine desire to help customers and create a positive experience is essential.
