The Role
Every day is a new adventure in this role. One moment you could be unloading deliveries, and the next you’re on the front lines, charming our trade counter customers with your sales prowess. Your primary mission? Deliver an exceptional sales experience that keeps our customers coming back for more.
You’ll be an integral part of our branch Sales Team, proactively engaging with customers to maximize sales opportunities. Think of yourself as the ultimate deal closer—identifying and developing new accounts while nurturing existing relationships. Your day will revolve around handling customer orders and inquiries via phone and email, ensuring that your rapport with regular customers translates into repeat business.
Communication is key; you’ll coordinate with your team and suppliers to guarantee seamless transactions, ensuring every order is delivered on time and in full. And of course, face-to-face customer interactions at the trade counter will be your chance to shine, showcasing your ability to create a welcoming and engaging atmosphere.
What We’re Looking For
We’re not just looking for experience; we want a personality that lights up the room! Your ability to connect with customers, learn quickly, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment is what will set you apart. A “can do” mentality and multitasking skills are essential. Bonus points if you have a forklift license or VDU skills!
