What will this role achieve?
In the Packing Hall you'll work as part of a team to run machinery, check product quality and help maintain high production standards.
What will be your key deliverables?
- Carry out all pre-start checks.
- Carry out product quality evaluations throughout the shift.
- Control and operate a variety of processes and equipment.
- Understand equipment and machinery set up.
- Be able to work in a cross-functional working environment.
- Complete changeovers in your area, following the correct procedure
- Ensure all documentation is filled in correctly and to the right standard.
- Complete shift handovers in your area, following the agreed agenda.
- Train peers and new operatives in equipment use and procedures when required.
- Undertake basic problem diagnosis
- Work with relevant team members to resolve issues.
- Ensure the efficient operation of packing equipment whilst carrying out quality inspections and maintaining a safe working environment.
- Maximise plant efficiency whilst minimising waste.
- Keep housekeeping and hygiene standards at the highest level.
- Support the business with the generation of any improvement Initiatives.
- Good opportunities for progression

- Cleaning duties of varying descriptions
