As we continue to expand, we are looking for dedicated and motivated individuals to join our warehouse team.
Job Summary:
The Picker and Packer will be responsible for picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for shipment in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role is crucial in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of order fulfillment and inventory management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from shelves according to customer orders.
- Pack products in a neat and secure manner, ensuring they are ready for safe transport.
- Label and prepare packages for shipment, following company procedures.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and report discrepancies to the warehouse supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Assist in loading and unloading delivery trucks as needed.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company guidelines.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience in a warehouse, fulfillment, or logistics environment is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions.
- Physical ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems is a bonus.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime as needed.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £10.00-£14.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
